Malibu real estate is not dead

Posted by susan cosentino

So I started this blog not too long ago with my first post and very excited to get my pictures up and running with various local stories - only to find that I have been swamped with real estate lately… which is a great thing, but begs the question ”is real estate really dead?” With all of the media stories surrounding the foreclosure market, lending drama and such, many have focused only on the negative. But the reality is that this is still a very good time to purchase property. Lending rates are still low and buyers can take their time searching for the perfect place without worrying about losing out on a property if they do not move fast enough, or submitting an offer only to find out that they are in multiple offers - commonplace a few years ago. If buyers wait too long, the market will cycle back with the frenzy that accompanies it. It is a buyer’s market, take advantage of it!
