Welcome to the blog world and look forward to more great post about California.

California was listed as one of the hardest hit areas due to recent lending industry practices and foreclosures and I was wondering how your area has done? It so funny how some areas are ok and others not. I see areas with economic problems and foreclosures and then there are luxury homes also so trying to figure out the mystery. Well the common denomenator is loan that people walked from and a declining home values. I see buyers starting to get out the last few weeks and see if they can do better by selling and repurchasing a house or first time buyers seeing if they can purchase a home.

Sounds like a great community to live in and has many things for a homeowner to enjoy with there free time. With the current lending crisis and the real estate buyers market this seems like a great place to invest in a place to live or a vacation rental.

I have family in the Santa Barbara area and they love it.
